American Roundups - Week Ending October 23

In the only game reported, Justin Jewell scored four goals, Brad Potter scored two and assisted on another, Liam Darcy had three assists and Garrett Pietz and Trevor Mallett both posted a goal and an assist in Seacoast's big win over the Red Rangers.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Justin Jewell, Seacoast

Pro Ambitions won twice. Derek Osik snapped a 2-2 tie with 6:35 left and Jack Waldman had two assists in a 4-2 victory over the Wizards - and Pro Ambitions edged the Crusaders, 3-2 (missing game sheet);

Jack Norton scored twice, Anthony Cosentino, Byron Welch and Cooper Norton all had a goal and an assist and Tanner Derby had two assists in Seacoast's 6-3 victory over the Glades; and the Red Rangers beat the Crusaders, 5-1 (missing game sheet).

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jack Norton, Seacoast

Seacoast won twice. Greg Stohrer scored twice, Ryan Gaulin had a goal and an assist and Zak Lanoue and Quinn Tucker each had two assists in a 5-2 victory over the Warriors - and Nolan Lavalle scored twice and Corbin Cashman had the winner 48 seconds into the third period of a 3-2 decision over the Advantage;

Tim Ricardson set up three goals as the Crusaders nipped the Red Rangers, 5-2; and Cam Francis scored what turned out to be the winner early in the second period ad the Blazers edged the Wizards, 3-2 - Bartkus with both goals in the loss.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tim Richardson, Crusaders

Declan Dennehy scored two goals and assisted on another and Reilly Moran had a goal and an assist as the Advantage topped the Blazers, 5-2; Len Brochue clicked for two goals and an assist and Josh Connor a goal and a setup as the Avalanche defeated the Wizards, 5-2; John Fusco (1-1-2) scored the winner with 1:42 left, Justin Krayer had a goal and two assists, Ben McPherron scored twice and Ryan Flynn also had two assists as the Wizards edged the Vipers, 6-5 - Mike Barlette with 1-2-3 and Damon Maribito 1-1-2 in the loss; Welch pitched a shutout and Pastore scored midway through the second period as the Red Rangers topped the Glades, 1-0; and Leblanc's goal early in the third period turned out to be the winner and Mark Richards had 1-1-2 as the Crusaders nipped Seacoast, 4-3.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Welch, Red Rangers

Mulholland scored with 7:20 left to give the Cyclones a 3-3 tie with Seacoast, which got two goals from Chris Dowd and two assists from Tyler Gaulin; Jack Dempsey scored his second goal of the game with 4:04 left for the win and added an assist in Assabet's 4-3 decision over the Advantage; and Tom Miller scored the tying goal with 1:18 left and John Fusco scored twice as the Wizards pulled out a 3-3 tie with the Avalanche, who got 1-1-2 from Ryan Cardew.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jack Dempsey, Assabet

The Advantage had a win and tie, as did the Avalanche, who also had a loss, the tie coming against each other. O'Neill scored two goals and assisted on two others as the Advantage beat Avs, 5-3, despite 1-1-2 by Brendan Herbert and two assists by Owen Roberto; Kyle Lavigne scored what turned out to be the winner in the second period as the Avs edged the Wizards, 3-2, with Grant Potter collecting 1-1-2 in the loss - and Godin scored with one second left to give the Advantage a 4-4 tie with the Avs, as O'Neill scored twice for the Advantage and Ben Steeves posted 2-1-3 for the Avalanche;

In the other game, Sam Mellen delivered 1-1-2 as the Warriors clipped the Blazers, 4-2.

In the West, Brendan Doyle scored the winner with 3:22 left and Ed Towlson had 1-1-2 as Seacoast edged the Advantage, 3-2; Drew Blackwell's second goal of the game, with 3:17 left, gave the Warriors a 3-3 tie with the Advantage, who got two assists from Billy Mrowka; and the Red Rangers topped the Warriors, 5-0 (missing game sheet).

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: O'Neill, Advantage

The Red Rangers and Wizards both posted a win and a tie. Jonathan Patch scored twice and Donald Davis had 11-2 in the Rangers' 6-4 victory over the Advantage, who got two goals from Matt Sullivan - and the Rangers and Cyclones skated to a 5-5 tie (no game sheet); Alexander Brown scored two goals and assisted on two others and Aidan Lyons and Sam Kalkstein both had 1-1-2 as the Wizards topped Assabet, 7-3 - and Joe Tardif (2-1-3) scored the tying goal with 6:42 left, just 12 second after Aidan Healey gave his team the lead, and gave the Wizards a 5-5 tie with the Advantage, Matt Fusco with two assists for the Wizards;

In the other game, Assabet topped the Crusaders, 6-0 but the score sheet could not be read.
