The Cyclones went 1-1-2 and the Avalanche 1-0-1, including a tie against each other. Anthony Gulliver scored twice, Andrew Somerville had a goal and an assist and Drew Gounaris two assists in a 7-4 victory over Pro Ambitions, which got three assists from Mike Piccirillo, 1-1-2 from Joe Nutting and two assists from Tyler Dowdy; Gounaris (2-1-3) scored the tying goal with 1:10 left in the second period and Jonathan Donaghey posted 1-2-3 as the Cyclones skated to a 3-3 tie with Assabet; Kyle Nagri (2-1-3) scored with 3:49 left to give the Cyclones a 3-3 tie with the Avalanche, who had gone ahead when Nick Burgess scored with 5:39 left and also got two assists from Moore; Miller Ouellette had a goal and three assists and Giovanno Corsetto 2-1-3 as the Avs beat the Monarchs, 6-1 - and Shane Foye and Trevor Cosgrove both posted 2-1-3, Asa Palker had 1-2-3 and Richard Brewitt also had two assists as the Monarchs defeated the Cyclones, 6-2;

 

Nick Botticelli posted 1-2-3, Nick Day scored twice and Robby McLean also had two assists as the Red Rangers beat Albany, 5-3 - Chris Hunt with 2-1-3 and Brendan Closs 1-1-2 in the loss; and Hunt had 2-2-4, Closs scored one goal and assisted on three others, Zach Watkins had three assists and Matt Peretti two goals in Albany's 8-2 victory over the Blazers.

The Vipers and Seacoast both won twice. Kyle Lynch scored twice and Noah Maercklein had two assists as the Vipers beat the Red Rangers, 4-1 - and Evan Daddario had two goals and an assist, Maercklein posted 1-2-3, Kyle Hentosh had three assists, John Chamberlain also scored twice, Lynch had 1-1-2 and Aaron McDonnell and Zach Laramie shared the shutout in a 7-0 victory over the Crusaders; Tate Singleton came through with 1-2-3, Anthony Cosentino scored twice and Ty Turgeon had 1-1-2 in Seacoast's 8-2 win over the Wizards, who got 1-1-2 from Richard Murphy and two assists from Mario Cutone - and Byron Welch scored the winner with 3:14 left and Singleton scored twice as the Spartans edged the Monarchs, 4-3, Matt Quercia with two goals and Nate Rumford two assists in the loss;

 

Josh Chapman had two assists and Isaac Leslie, Alex Passafiume and Pat Swanosn scored in a 5:10 span of the first period as the Monarchs defeated Pro Ambitions, 5-1; and Louis Finocchiaro delivered 1-2-3 and Tom Sullivan 1-1-2 as the Red Rangers beat Pro Ambitions, 4-2.

 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Noah Maercklein, Vipers

The Red Rangers won twice, Seacoast and the Wizards both won a game and tied each other and the Advantage also had a win and a tie. Sam Stone had a goal and two assists and Pat Hughes and Tim January each had 1-1-2 as the Rangers nipped the Wizards, 5-2 - and Jack Bertolami went for 1-2-3 and Timmy Usalis also had two assists in a 4-1 triumph over the Crusaders; Luke Pepin wore the hat and Tanner McClure had 1-1-2 in Seacoast's 5-2 win over the Advantage; Dylan Arnold had a goal and three assists, Zachary Janfaza 2-1-3, Dave Bartkus 1-2-3 and Brett Rahbany 1-1-2 as the Wizards topped the Avalanche, 5-3, Griffin Gagne with 1-1-2 in the loss - and Quinn Tucker scored with 2:22 left to give Seacoast a 2-2 tie with the Wizards, who got both goals from Rahbany; Walsh snapped a 1-1 tie with 57.9 seconds left in the second period and the Advantage defeated the Crusaders, 3-1 - and Doolin capped a hat trick with 4:35 left to give the Advantage a 3-3 tie with the Blazers, who got two goals from Pat Sunderland;

 

Doug Champagne wore the hat and had an assist, Gagne posted 1-2-3 and Tim Cronin 1-1-2 as the Avalanche beat the Blazers, 6-1; and the Warriors topped Albany, 4-1 (missing game sheet).

 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Doolin, Advantage

The Vipers won twice and the Advantage and '00 Warriors both won a game and tied each other. Tyler Manzi had two goals and an assist and Mike Barletta and Anthony Bono both posted 1-1-2 as the Vipers beat the '01 Warriors, 6-2 - and Barletta had 1-1-2 and Ryan Groark two assists in a 4-0 victory over Seacoast; The Advantage beat the Blazers, 3-1 (missing game sheet from Pilgrim); Eric Degregorio wore the hat and had two assists, Blake Bartell had 1-2-3 and Hunter McCoy two assists as the '00 Warriors beat the Wizards, 6-2, Kadyn Farrell with 1-1-2 in the loss - and the Warriors and Advantage skated to a 1-1 tie (another game sheet missing from Pilgrim);

 

Vona scored the tying goal with 3:57 left and Lester had two assists as the Blazers pulled out a 4-4 tie with the '01 Warriors, who had gone ahead on Robbie Griffin's second goal of the game with 5:21 remaining; and Roche snapped a 1-1 tie with 12:27 left in the second period as the Red Rangers beat the Avalanche, 3-1.

 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mike Barletta, Vipers

The Wizards beat the Cyclones twice. Mike McEachern assisted on both goals, Cade Nagahama scored what turned out to be the winner with 6:51 left and Casen Janko lost a shutout when Shane White scored with two minutes left as the Wizards edged the Cyclones, 2-1 - and Nagahama wore the hat and McEachern posted two assists in a 4-2 win;

Connor Blanchard wore the hat and had an assist, Victor Otero posted 1-1-2 and No. 16 had two assists as Assabet beat the Advantage, 6-1; Joey Flanagan delivered 1-1-2 and the Cyclones topped Seacoast, 6-2; and Chris Roy scored 1:48 into the third period to give Seacoast a 3-2 decision over the Cyclones.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: Nagahama, McEachern, Wizards

The Wizards and Advantage both won twice and the Avalanche had a win and a tie in the East. William Rinaldi (1-1-2) scored with 2:12 left to give the Wizards a 2-1 victory over Assabet - and Eric DeCoste had 2-1-3, Grant Porter 1-2-3, Gerald Cutone 1-1-2 and Matt Fusco two assists in a 5-3 win over the Avalanche, who got two goals from Ben Steeves; Goodrich pitched a shutout and Lovell scored midway through the first period as the Advantage topped the Avalanche, 2-0 - and Bouthillier wore a natural hat and also had an assist in the first period of a 4-1 win over the Monarchs; Ryan Sweeney scored one goal and assisted on three others, Steeves posted four assists, Owen Roberto scored twice and Colin Freitas and Parker Taylor shared the shutout as the Avalanche beat Seacoast, 7-0 - and Steeves scored with 10:21 left to give the Avs a 1-1 tie with the Blazers, who got a second-period goal from Paul Halloran;

 

Calvin Mansfield delivered 2-1-3, Tyler Godfrey had three assists, Zachary McKennelley also scored twice, Pat Somerville had1-1-2 and Peyton Defeo two assists as the Warriors beat the Blazers, 8-3; Halloran scored two goals and assisted on two others and Nick Martin had a goal and three assists as the Blazers topped the Warriors, 7-3; and the Advantage edged Assabet, 2-1.

 

In the West, the '03 Advantage swept a pair from Albany, 5-3 and 4-3, but we are missing the game sheets;

 

Mike O'Malley scored the winner with 2:05 left and Dylan Breen and Alex Morey both scored twice as Assabet edged the Warriors, 5-4 - Drew Blackwell with three assists and Parker Defeo two goals in the loss; Mathew Gover pitched a shutout, Kyle Elliott had two assists and Collin Elliott and Griffin Masseur scored 64 seconds apart in the second period as the Red Rangers beat the Warriors, 3-0; Kameron Levesque scored twice and the Monarchs beat Seacoast, 3-1; Spencer Aubin posted 2-1-3 and Cy LeClerc also scored twice in Seacoast's 5-0 victory over the Rangers; and the Avalanche topped Seacoast, 7-0 (missing game sheet).

 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ben Steeves, Avalanche

 

MITES
The Cyclones and Crusaders both had a win and a tie. Nathan Glencross erupted for six goals and an assist and Declan Burke had 1-1-2 as the Cyclones beat the Red Rangers, 7-2 - and Burke scored the tying goal with 3:50 left and Glencross scored the other two goals as the Cyclones pulled out a 3-3 tie with the Advantage, who got 1-1-2 apiece from Brady Lewis and Aiden Rasal and two assists from Nolan Faherty; Connor O'Brien had 2-1-3 and the Crusaders defeated the Avalanche -0- and Cam Arakelian scored the tying goal with 7:13 left, Joe Solomon had 1-2-3 and Connor O'Brien (2-1-3) and Dom Murphy (1-2-3) scored 10 seconds apart in the second period as the Crusaders tied Assabet, 5-5, Will Kelleher wearing the hat while Greg Dennison and Ian Connaughton posting 1-1-2 apiece for Assabet;

 

Derek Amaral capped a hat trick with what turned out to be the winner with 8:57 left and Max Schilling scored twice as Pro Anbition edged the Monarchs, 5-4 - Noah Malcolm with 2-1-3 and Brett Niland 1-2-3 in the loss; and Asa Forbes had 1-1-2 as Seacoast nipped the Monarchs, 4-2 - Malcolm with 1-1-2 in the loss.
